We are looking for a Locomotive Fleet Maintenance Manager (M/F)

You will join the maintenance department on a permanent contract, reporting to theGeneral MaintenanceManager. You will be responsible for the operability and reliability of DB Cargo France's rolling stock (engine).

Your future missions:

✔️ Supervise maintenance tasks: ensuring locomotives are stocked and allocated efficiently and in line with the market,
✔️ Manage a team of 6 people (2 Fleet Maintenance Managers and 4 Workshop Managers),
✔️ Implement and monitor maintenance plans to ensure locomotive reliability and safety, using CMMS in particular,
✔️ Control and optimize expenditure: monitor and analyze locomotive maintenance costs, optimizing expenditure while adhering to safety, deadlines and regulatory requirements,
✔️ Manage locomotive rentalfor our external customers,
✔️ Monitor and analyze thefleet performance in order to identify areas for improvement,
✔️ Implement actions necessary for the management of locomotive safety, including risk assessment and preparation for safety audits (KN1, KN2),
✔️ Participate on different projects related to the business (e.g. locomotive electronic logbooks),
✔️ Ensure quality control, reporting and maintenance key performance indicators
✔️ Report on maintenance activities and monitor on performance indicators.

Profile searched:

• You have ideally experience in the rail sector with skills in operational logistics management, planning and customer relations,
• You are familiar with the office package including Excel (TCD and data processing formulas),
• You are rigorous, organized and solution-oriented,
• You are comfortable to work in transverse with many interlocutors,
• You have a good command of English (minimum B2), regular meetings with DB Germany and/or DB UK.
